Privacy Policy
This policy covers two things: the DreamBig app for iOS and Android, and the DreamBig Parenting website with its launch list and newsletter. It is written for parents. We do not sell personal information, we show no advertising, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children beyond what the app needs to work.

The DreamBig app
DreamBig is a visual savings tracker for children and their parents. It works without an account: you do not give us your name, email address or phone number to use it.
What stays on your device
Dreams, their names and prices, the photo you attach to a dream, every saving you record and your settings are stored only on your device. We have no copy of your photos or your savings history on our servers. Deleting the app deletes this data.
What the app sends to third parties
To understand how the app is used and to make purchases work, the app uses a small number of service providers. Each receives a random identifier for the installation (not your name), device and app information (model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone) and an approximate location derived from your IP address by the provider.
- Product analytics — Amplitude, PostHog and AppMetrica (Yandex) receive anonymous usage events such as “dream created”, “cell filled” or “paywall viewed”, together with values like the number of cells in a grid or the currency you picked. The events do not contain your dream photos, dream names or free text.
- Purchases — Apphud receives your App Store or Google Play purchase receipt so that your Premium status can be verified and restored on a new device. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
- Crash reports — if the app crashes, technical crash data may be sent to the analytics providers above.
These providers process the data on our behalf and under their own privacy terms: Amplitude, PostHog, Yandex AppMetrica, Apphud.
Permissions
The app asks for access to your photo library only when you choose a picture for a dream. The selected picture is copied into the app's private storage on your device and is not uploaded to us.
Retention
Data on your device stays until you delete the dream or the app. Analytics events are kept by the providers for up to 24 months. Purchase records are kept for as long as needed to honour your subscription or lifetime purchase and to comply with tax and accounting rules.
Children
DreamBig is meant to be installed and set up by a parent or guardian and used by the child together with them. The app never asks a child for a name, email address, phone number, photo of themselves or any other contact details. If you are a parent and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, or you want the analytics identifier of your child's device deleted, write to us and we will delete it.

Launch list and email subscriptions
If you join the DreamBig launch list, we collect your email address, the phone platform you choose (optional) and basic source information such as the page and campaign that led you to the form. We use it to send you an email when the DreamBig app launches. If you also tick the DreamBig Letter box, we use the same address to send the newsletter a few times a month. We do not sell your information. Form delivery is handled by Web3Forms.
Website analytics
With your consent, we use Yandex Metrica to understand visits, reading, and subscription conversions. Analytics does not load until you select “Accept analytics.” You can clear this choice by removing site data in your browser.
Your rights and choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, including analytics data linked to your device identifier and your email address on the launch list. You may unsubscribe from emails by replying to any of them. You can also reset the analytics identifier by deleting and reinstalling the app. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, the UK or California) you may have additional rights, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes
When we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be announced inside the app.
